Special perforation techniques
Perforating is a critical part of the well completion process.
In recompletion or remedial applications, reperforation or perforation of a new zone may be desired.
Perforating guns are available in a variety of configurations. In addition, they may be deployed on Wireline or CT, through-tubing or through-casing. Consequently, a detailed investigation should be undertaken to establish the optimum perforating system.
This course will make a clear guide and explain pro’s and con’s of each technique.
