Acoustic measurement of the bond between casing

and cement and cement integrity

Logging tools evaluate the bond between casing and cement placed in the annulus AND between cement and wellbore. The measurement is made by using acoustic sonic and ultrasonic tools.

The most important is to read log correctly, as such wrong interpretation of the raw data can lead to costly consequences.
